Jehovah Rapha the Lord is My Healer

Right after I became a Christian, my father got sick with a kink in his colon. He was in the hospital for surgery, and I was praying for him and an the hospital attendee dropped him on the x-ray table. The kink in the colon was gone, and he did not need surgery. He gave glory to the attendee and I gave glory to God. If God moves in mysterious ways that was one incident.

I’ve been seeking God on his divine healing for a break through. That is what the incarnation is –God with us. Many people want to put down the accuracy of the Bible but the Dead Sea scrolls proved how close the current translations are to Isaiah – a virgin shall conceive. God broke through.

All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means 'God is with us'). Isaiah 7:14

I lived in concern/fear of my husband’s health for 14 years. As a child, he came very close to dying from an asthmatic attack, and a couple times as an adult. He had a hard time breathing usually in the morning and when he had his massive heart attack, I thought it was an asthma attack.

Now that I’ve had attacks of a rapid heart beat, I don’t want to live anymore like my spouse did with that doom over my head. We both knew we are going to heaven, but to me, that is not the abundant life that Jesus talked about. I prayed about it and the Lord said, “Bind and rebuke the spirit of death over your life.” So that is what I’ve done. I’ve had several close calls in life and many the last six years as personal attacks on my well being.

Paul talked about the sentence of death.

Indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, 2 Cor. 1:9-10

Paul said that he would have come to them over and over, but Satan hindered him – he did not say that God allowed it or that God did it ---he said Satan stopped him. I can read also with Daniel it took 21 days to get a prayer request through because of a principality that was holding back his prayer. We can bind spirits that hinder us from doing the will of God in our lives.

For we wanted to come to you--certainly I, Paul, did, again and again--but Satan blocked our way. 1 Thess. 2:18

Jesus defeated all principalities and powers and Paul talked about “crushing Satan under our feet.” Part of that crushing is our sickness and diseases were taken by Jesus.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Roman 16:20
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:15

The prayer of binding and loosing is an important prayer. I’ve seen breakthroughs (God breaking through) with praise, with fasting, with prayer and with God’s word.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 18:18

I am not a candidate for pain and suffering. I search out whatever way to get healed and that is what I like about doctors. They just want us to be well. Jesus was the great physician and it is His will over and over He said “I will” you be made whole.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:4, Mathew 8:15

He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed." 1 Peter 2:24

I had problems with arthritis in my knees and took anti-inflammatory pain medication for a few years since the doctor could not do anything for it, and then I went to a Bible study and had them pray for my knees two years now I’ve not had any more problems. A few times pain tried to come back on me briefly, and I just said, “Thank you God I’m healed" and every time immediately the pain left.

My understanding that faith that moves mountain is thanking God we have it –believe we have received when we pray.. Since they prayed for me that was the point of contact so now I just stand on the word I’m healed. Before my knee would lock up when I slept in horrible pain, on airline trips and when I walked too much and none of those problems have happened. I’ve been free for two years.

The woman who was bent over for 18 years – Jesus said she was “daughter of Abraham” so she had covenant privileges. Same with us we are not adopted into the vine through Christ – the Gentiles have the blessing of Abraham – Duet. 28.

And there was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent double, and could not straighten up at all. Then Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your sickness." Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God. Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"Luke 13:11-13 and v. 16

I like to say the word of God regularly over my life whether I feel it or my circumstances are so, “My finances are blessed, my health is blessed, my car is blessed, my family is blessed, and I am blessing everywhere I go.”
