Moving in a Supernatural Anointing or the Realm of God Part 1
· Some things in my life have been “automatic” like fruit that falls off a tree. Other things in my life have been a battle. Most of all my walk for forty years with the Lord has been a walk of prayer. Once in a while I hear people say, “All we can do is pray.” As is prayer does not work.
Praying stopped the mouth of the lion in the lion’s den for Daniel. The church was praying when Peter was let out of jail by an angel. The gates of prison were open when Paul and Silas were praising at the midnight hour. In my own life I’ve seen many answers to prayer. We need to believe in prayer. Jesus said if we have faith as grain of mustard seed and say to this mountain, be moved and cast into the sea it will be done.
I’m praying for revival. For the “latter rain.” (Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain, James 5:7)
Elijah was a man with “like passions” as we in that he prayed and the rain stopped and then he prayed and the rain started. I believe the nice weather in Indiana for the Superbowl shows us that weather can be different and things change. We had a horrible storm last winter at that time. Try increasing your prayer life for others. Make a daily prayer list and pray for those people faithfully each day. (Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! James 5:17)
When I look at all the great men of God in the Bible they had a prayer walk. Moses fasted and prayed for 40 days/nights, Daniel prayed three times a day, it talks about when Peter prayed he had a vision to minister to the Gentiles, David had a prayer life he said “evening, morning and noon” (Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. Psalm 55:17)
Hannah prayed to God and conceived a child (Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him." 1 Samuel 1:17)
· Isaac interceded on Rebecca’s behalf to conceive a child (Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant Genesis 25:21)
Elizabeth’s husband was praying when he saw an angel to conceive John. What sets a minister apart from another minister is a prayer life.
·
· It says a true widow prays and trusts in God: (And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? Luke 18:7 and Now a true widow, a woman who is truly alone in this world, has placed her hope in God. She prays night and day, asking God for his help. 1 Timothy 5:5 )
The Lord gave me this scripture last night when I was praying: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. John 15:7”
Three years ago the Lord told me he wanted me to start blogging. He said like David took off the kingly robes and freely danced before Him, He wanted me to strip off my pride and be open about the gifts He has given me. The greatest gift is like Paul's gift and that is sharing the revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ. It's when God's word becomes the "living" word in our lives not just a bunch of words on the page of a book, but when you can apply the word of God to our life. Jesus was the word that became flesh. John 1:14
We can tell how much we love Jesus by how much we love his word because Jesus was the “living word.” Jesus was the expressed revelation of God, his will and nature. Jesus said when you have seen me you have seen the Father. (John 14:9)
This was a simple act of obedience on my part, like my daughter recently was water baptized was an act of obedience, it says “repent and be baptized.” Acts 2:38
I went to Indian Creek and the minister shared on "One person can make a difference." I blogged on that very topic on 2/10/2003. Two years ago the same exact message. It's because the Lord has given me a prophetic type anointing.
· The enemy likes to lie to us that we can’t make a difference in life we are too insignificant, but even if we only help one person, Elijah went to one widow woman, and only one leper was healed at that time which was Naaman, one person was saved in Jericho who was Rahab a prostitute who later became the mother of Boaz, Ruth went with Naomi out of Moab, but then she and Boaz married and they became the ancestors of the lineage of David.
Prophets go before people in life in their experiences (ahead of the pack), but don't be too quick to want a prophet's anointing, because if you look at the Old Testament, prophets were stoned and rejected because they did not tickle people's ears. When I went to a single’s retreat at Keystone Crossing church. My first ever single’s retreat since I was first married at 21 years old, I did not know a couple was going to talk about how they met each other. I was getting discouraged since I started thinking about how my husband and I met each other, and then the Lord’s voice spoke to me that as John outran Peter to the grave, I’ve outran other wives to the tomb only it was not an intentional running. My husband will be risen with Christ.
David killed a giant with his slingshot and stones. God used Moses staff to lead the children out of Egypt with mighty signs including the Red Sea splitting, a little boy gave Jesus his fishes and loaves and Jesus fed five thousand people, a widow gave Elijah her oil and wine and it lasted for three years…what we give God he multiplies. I give God my talents which are writing, playing and singing with my guitar, and social networking/sharing God’s word and fun.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God so if we neglect to put God’s word first place in our life above everything else, than our faith will be weak. There is so much sense knowledge and unbelief (negativity) in this world that we need to keep the word of God in our lives to combat the negativity that tells us we are failures, that God does not answer prayer.
Phil Collins/In The Air Tonight: “I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord, I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life, Oh Lord, “I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord, Can’t you feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord, Oh Lord
